Product Description

PREBOND-220 is a high-performance single-component, ready-to-use self-priming silicone-modified polymer & nano-zinc pigments-based strong acid, alkali fumes & corrosion resistant direct to metal paint. It is a great replacement of two-pack epoxy, enamel, PU or rubber paints for acid, alkali & corrosion resistance. After application, it provides excellent corrosion protection in highly-corrosive and acidic-alkaline-environments.

Applications

It is preferred a great choice to protect and preserve expensive industrial structures, shades, pipelines, machinery, beams, channel, angel, purlin, tank, pipe-rack, crane, pump, valve, gratings, cooling tower, staircase, ETP, duct collector, RCC wall, acid pickling, hot-dip galvanizing, marine & harsh-corrosive areas etc.

Application Procedure & Other Details

Mixing Container:PREBOND-220 supplied in single separate container (ready to use form).

Mixing Method:Always stir/shake well before use.

Method of Application:Normal brush, roller, air spray, airless spray etc.

Thinner:Use PREBOND-084 thinner as required.

Recommend Coats:Always apply 02 coats for better result (in difference 06-12 hours-time).

Required DFT:Maintain minimum 100-micron DFT (Dry film thickness), for better result.

Surface Preparation:Clean the surface well by using wire-brush or sand-paper & cotton.

On Heavy Rusted Surface:Use PREBOND-110 (Rust Converter Chemical) 01 coat, for better result.

On Light Rusted Surface:Use PREBOND-220, 02 coats directly, after cleaning surface by wire-brush.

On Old Painted Surface:Use PREBOND-220, 02 coats directly, after cleaning surface by wire-brush.

On Newly Metal Surface:Use PREBOND-220, 02 coats directly, after cleaning surface by wire-brush.

Self-life:12 months in air-tight containers.

Concept of DTM Paint – PREBOND-220

DTM (Direct-to-Metal) Paint is a single-component, ready-to-use system providing long-term corrosion protection against strong acid and alkali fumes. After application, it forms a stable, hard protective layer that preventing acid and alkali fumes from penetrating the metal surface, offering robust protection in highly-corrosive & acidic-alkaline environments for 02*-03* years more without primer. This DTM paint eliminates the need for primer and mixing two components, reducing paint wastage and ensuring a hassle-free application.
